Our Brand New Kicks Plus Loads of Pics

Today we went to Fred Toenges to get the boys some BIG BOY SHOES. The boys love them (of course, they really like being called big boys). No more soft sole baby shoes for them! And they were such good little boys at the store. They just sat in their strollers and let the saleslady measure them up. No fussing, crying, screaming...our saleslady was impressed. Adam wasn't too sure about the whole thing. He looked at her like"what are you doing to my foot?", Ben talked and talked the whole time (he's quite a storyteller), and Jacob flirted. He's a little ladies man.

Here they are on the way to the shoe store.

Jacob getting fitted...he wears size 5 double wide! EGADS!

Adam getting fitted...he was trying to figure out what she was doing.

Ben telling Grandma B. all about it. My little man has the biggest feet!
And now...their brand new kicks! Don't they look like big boys? When we got home, they ran and ran around their playroom. They didn't stumble too much either, considering it was their first time wearing hard sole shoes. Thank you Grandma B. for our new shoes!

Okay...enough about the shoes (I could go on and on. We had such a fun day). We also had a play date with Tabby, Ella & Ada. I can't believe how big the girls are. They're so cute! I think all the kids had a great time. They played pretty well together. Then Aunt Jen and Logan stopped by for some play time.

Yesterday, we went to the park by the Y. That park is so cool. It has swings, slides, forts...all sorts of cool stuff to play on. I think Chris would like to build something like that in our backyard. I'll need to get a pic of it. The boys really liked the mulch. Maybe we should mulch our backyard...it would be cheaper.

We took tons of pics this week. My boogers are so cute! ps...Adam is a little obsessed with socks again.

Notice the missing socks? Can you guess the culprit? Adam's been taking off his brothers socks too!

Chris put on their IU hats. They love to wear baseball hats. They run around the room taking the hats off and on, giggling the whole time.

Put a sock in it!

What a cutie pie!

Silly goose!

What does the doggie say, Jacob?

Ornery little guy trying to climb up on the sofa!

Cheesers!

Peek-a-boo!

Choo choo!

Jacob & Logan discussing their next move. They were playing hide-and-seek.

Story time with mommy.

Well, I'm hungry, so I'm going to eat some more Fruity Pebbles. YUM! Have a great weekend!

ps...Surprise is quite the little kicker. So far, his favorite foods are Fruity Pebbles and Taco Bell Nacho Cheese Chalupas. Mmmm...so good, but boy does it give me heartburn.
