Dear Baby Sam,

I can't believe one year ago today, I was lying in bed, hungry because I couldn't eat due to my impending c-section, and you were lodged in my ribs, vigorously kicking my insides. I laid on my left side, as I did many nights, but this night, I was anxiously waiting for the morning, when your Dada and I would finally get to meet you. Boy, we didn't know what we were in for. From the time I woke up to the time you were born, you kicked and squirmed and wiggled. ALL MORNING. Mama's not kidding. With all the wiggling around, you some how got stuck. It took a lot of time and effort to get you out. I'm guessing you were nice and cozy. Luckily for your Mama, Dr. Einhaus got you out, because I don't think you'd fit anymore.

I have to admit, when we first found out we were having you, I cried a lot. Your Dada was super excited, but your Mama was super worried. But the further we went along, the better everything became. You grew and kicked and demanded cereal and lemon scented everything. Your brothers were oblivious to your very existence, but when you were born, they were in love. You have been the happiest, most joyful baby. Nothing gets you down, unless you're hungry. And when you want to eat, watch out. I can't imagine life with out you, Sam. You are very special. Stay happy little man, and always know that your Mama and Dada love you very much. Happy Birthday!!!

It's About Time!

Okay, okay...I know it's been a long time since I last blogged, but I have 4 very good reasons. And, there really isn't much to write about because we haven't been doing much. Darn Indiana weather keeps us homebound. BRRRR! And remember those 4 reasons earlier, well here they are (I added a few tidbits of what they're in to right now):

Adam, aka BOOG. The leader of the bunch, who loves his trains (especially his blue Gordon train which he will trade anything he has to get it), his baabee Sam, Yo Gabba Gabba, being tickled, puzzles, coloring, "Row, Row, Row Your Boat", taking off his shirt, jumping, rhymes, sharing, being a goofball, wearing shoes, singing the alphabet song, cars, giving kisses, drawing circles, counting, eating fruit and cookies, going bye-bye, reading to himself, the alphabet, and snuggle time. He also loves to sleep with Mama and Dada.

Jacob, aka Punk'in. Our wild man loves getting messy, Yo Gabba Gabba, rhymes, the alphabet, "Twinke, Twinkle Little Star", hugging, reading books, being naked, his trains (none in particular), jumping, going bye-bye, cars, climbing on tables, snuggle time, drawing circles, laughing, being goofy, putting items (, blocks, food) in a pile or lining them up, counting (he can count to 10), colors, bubble baths, sleeping under the covers, dancing, drawing circles, snow, puzzles, and eating gross stuff (dog food, poop, you name it). He also loves his baby Sam and has become more of a snugglebug with Mama and Dada.

Ben, aka Small Fry. He the orneriest one of the bunch, who loves his baaabeee Sam, bye-bye, snuggling, being tickled, brushing his teeth, reading books, colors (he can name quite a few), counting to ten (he even knows some numbers in Spanish...thanks Dora), his trains (especially his green Henry train), puzzles, drawing, rolling his eyes (it's hilarious), cars, the letters "A" and "B", giving kisses and hugs, climbing on tables, giggling, "Ring Around the Rosie", jumping, the word "yucky", Yo Gabba Gabba and talking. He also LOVES being ornery! He loves to sit on his brothers while I'm trying to change them. Little stinker!!!! Oh, and he does NOT like crusts on his sandwiches (such a Mommy thing to do).

Sam, aka Little Man. Our baby loves to giggle, being tickled, watching his bros, rolling over, playing on his mat, his Mama (okay...his Dada too), eating (cereal, bananas, apples, sweet potatoes, carrots & papayas), sleeping on his tummy, Bob Marley, scooting, playing with his toys, snuggling, his jumperoo, looking at faces, pulling hair and just being cute.

The whole gang!

Well, the boys are up from their nap. They are all barking!!!!! They've been hanging around the dogs too much! Enjoy the snow!!!! I will seriously do my best to keep updated.
