The surgery was a little rough (Sam didn't want to come out), but mommy and baby are home and doing well. We want to thank Grandma B. and Grandma P. for coming over and taking care of the boys. Thank you to all our friends and family for your support and prayers! And a big thanks to Dr. Einhaus for taking excellent care of us (she's been so great to us and is an awesome doctor).

The boys LOVE their new baby brother. Chris and Grandma B. took them to the hospital to see him, and when he cried, Jacob cried. My sensitive little guy. Adam was intrigued (another brother to add to his crew), but Ben wanted nothing to do with him at first.


Now, all the boys want to do is kiss and pet his head, too cute! I'll try to post some more pics this weekend.

Tomorrow is the BIG day!

Sorry I haven't updated in a long time, but it has been super crazy around here. Gosh, where do I begin. About 3 weeks ago, we found out that my placenta was pooping out, so I've been going to the Dr. twice a week for NSTs and BPPs. Last week, we got the news that the Dr. decided to schedule the big C for this week. Don't fret, the baby is fine, my placenta is getting worse, and she doesn't want to wait any longer. So, tomorrow is the big day we finally get to meet our little man. And boy, is he still quite the squirmy little guy. He's kicking me right now! Mama and Dada can't wait to meet you little man!!! Chris is so excited! I'm pretty excited, but nervous too. You know, surgery, recovery, leaving my boys for a week. They're in good hands...they have their grandmas, but I'll miss them so much. I wanted to post some new pics of the boys, but I can't get the keyboard working on our other computer (it loads the pics like 100x faster than this one), so you'll have to wait until I get back. I hope to post something tomorrow, but if not, I'll have something on Facebook. Chris will be making phone calls too. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers!

Thank you for making me laugh and teaching me my cool dance moves. Thank you for teaching me how to brush, brush, brush my teeth and for getting me two toothbrushes so my teeth will be extra clean! Thank you for reading my favorite books and playing trucks...VROOM, VROOM. Thank you for waking up at 3am, even on work nights, and comforting me when I don't feel well or when I have a bad dream. Thank you for getting me Cookie Crisp, lemonade and anything else I'm craving. Thank you for making the house smell like lemons, because I love the smell of lemons. Thank you for sharing your popcorn with me and Mama (even though she doesn't like it much). Thank you for making my brothers breakfast on the weekends so Mama and I can get some sleep. ps...Chris, I hope you had an awesome Father's Day. You're a wonderful father and husband, and the boys and I love you so much. Sorry for the lack of photos. I need to be better about taking pics of us with the boys. We don't have many with us, but looking through pics of the boys (I can't believe they're almost 2) brought back so many wonderful memories. Adventures of the Bible Boys...Part One

Oh, how I love this stage. Just watching my little guys as they discover new things, foods, animals, etc...it's amazing. They are so much fun! Today, for instance, we went to the zoo (I have zero zoo pics by the way), and I took Jacob in to see the goats. He wriggled out of my arms and ran wildly through the pin, with such a huge grin on his face. He would stop at one goat, then another, then another. He couldn't decide which one to pet first! It was so darn cute! I wish I had video of it. Of course, he threw the biggest fit when we left. He didn't want to leave those goats. He also pet a dove and a chick too. Ben will try anything you put on his plate (or on the floor...ewww), even spicy stuff. He's food adventurous for sure, and he's only a year and a half! The other day he tried coconut shrimp and loved it. I have such a hard time feeding Jacob & Adam (especially Adam). Picky, picky, picky! Adam loves to examine things. He'll pick flowers, leaves, pinecones (his favorite), mulch, trash (I know...gross), sticks...anything he sees on the ground. And if he finds two, the happier he is. He has to have something in each hand. And he always has to have 2 toothbrushes. I need to get a pic of this too! They all discovered trees too...well the bark. They like to walk up to trees, touch the bark, then run away. And they'll do this 3 or 4 times in a row. It's amazing how they're exploring the world around them.
