Garbage Disposal?

We have a new garbage disposal...MATTIE! The MATTIE model is the newest, furriest in the garbage disposal line. She comes complete with legs, super sonic sent, an extra long tongue for reaching that hard to reach food, and a bottomless stomach (sorry tail not included). She also enjoys tickling feet!

It's been an interesting past few weeks. Chris and the boys ALL had colds. They've never been sick at the same time. Grandma B. came over to help a few nights. Godbless her, she stayed up the whole night with them and didn't sleep a wink. Then she took care of them the next morning so I could rest. They were so congested, and they kept waking up all night because they couldn't breathe. I felt so helpless! I can't really give them anything, except the saline drops. That helps a bit, but at 1am, they certainly don't like it. Lots of screaming, squirming and crying. Chris wasn't much better. He didn't sleep much either, and he sounded awful. Luckily things are back to normal now. Grandma P. came by today to hang out. We took our new stroller for a spin. I'll post some pics of it next time. We purchased a quad stroller from Foundations. It's heavy...like 50+ pounds heavy. It took Grandma P. and I to push it up a hill on our walk. No more hills for me. I think we'll be sticking to even ground from now on. Atleast it's a good workout. It's about the only stroller that fits in our car, that was the main reason we chose it. I hope it fits through doors. Not much more has happened. I'm hoping to join a MOPS group, and we've been trying to get together with our new friends we met at the NICU reunion. They're triplet boys. They'll turn 2 in October, so that'll be good for the boys to have playmates around the same age. Here are some pics of the boys. Jacob, Ben and Adam. This is the first time I actually got them sitting next to eachother. They usually scatter when they see me with the camera.

Yummy oatmeal!
They're getting cuter everyday! Ben with his signature pose, silly Jacob and Adam racing through the tunnel.

It's off to bed now. Take care everyone!

Big Boys

It's so amazing how much they've grown...they're momma's big boys now. Oh my, so much has happened since I last blogged, and I only remember about half of it. Let's see...the boys had their 9 month checkup, and everything went well. Adam weighs 18 lbs. 4 ozs. and is 28" tall. Jacob weighs in at a whopping 18 lbs. 9 ozs. and is 27 1/2" tall. And Ben weighs 15 lbs. 13 ozs. and is 27 1/2" tall. They are all pulling themselves up to a standing position, sitting up, crawling all over the place, transferring from item to item and eating solid food (ok...it's really chopped up teeny tiny food). Their favorite foods are bananas, pasta, cheese, sweet potatos, yogurt and gerber puffs. This is such an exciting time for us, especially with their development. They seem to be "on track", and they're all doing the same things now. Before long they'll be walking. AHHHHH!

They also like to make big messes! Adam is our "neatest" eater. I know, he doesn't look clean, but you should see his brothers. Ben is usually the messiest. Although Jacob could tie Ben for the messiest award!

We've been keeping pretty busy this summer going to the zoo, shopping with Aunt Jen and our cousin Logan, hanging with our friends, going to JP, lunch with Grandma B., and teasing the dogs. I think they like their crates more than being out with these crazy guys.

Silly boys! Jacob grins and closes his eyes EVERY time I take a picture. Ben, aka Houdini, seems to always find a way to get out of things. Adam shows us his big boy teeth. Adam's also figured out how to take down their playhouse tent.

The Dupont NICU had a reunion a few weeks ago. Everyone dressed in cowboy gear. I wish I would've gotten a picture, but we didn't last long. It was so hot, and we were sweating bullets. The boys wore cute cowboy ts, bib bandannas and cowboy hats that Grandma B. made. Daddy wore a cowboy hat too! Mommy thought he looked like Tim McGraw. What a hottie! They had a petting zoo, and Jacob (our little animal lover) was crazy over it. He got to pet a llama, goat, horse and a lamb. We also celebrated our Great-Gramps 72nd birthday. We had a blast! All our cousins and aunts and uncles were there. Jacob even tried homemade ice cream. Shhh...don't tell daddy!
(Jacob & Ben hanging with Ky & Cassie)

I can't believe they're going to be a year old in two months!!! It goes by so fast. They'll be walking before we know it. But for now, they're still my babies (even though they think they're BIG BOYS).

On another note, our little man, Ben, is getting 2 teeth. Adam still has 4, and Jacob is getting 2 more. He's up to 4! Daddy's so proud! We also found out that Ben has eczema. We just went to Dr. Dillon last week and got some meds for him. My poor little booger. Luckily it doesn't bother him too much. The spots on his head are infected, probably from scratching it. They seem to be going away now.

To the park we go!

It was a fun evening at the park. We had a picnic with Grandma and Grandpa B., Aunt Suzette, and our cousins Anna, Ellie and Kate. This park is so cool!!! It has a huge playground with forts and swings and slides. It also has a huge train fort to play on. Next year boys! It was the first time the boys were in the swings too, and they loved it! They were giggling, and Daddy was cracking them up too. Silly Daddy!!!

Ben was almost too little for the swings, but boy did he have fun.

My big booger. Love that smile!

Is Daddy making silly faces, Jacob?

Well...last week was fun and crazy. First, we went to JP with our twin friends, Rach and Gwen, and their little brother, James. It's a nice outdoor mall. They have awesome Friday night concerts in the summer. We pretty much just walked around, and the girls hung out at the playground while we ate lunch.

The boys also spent some time in their pool. Adam was in for 40 minutes! He's going to be our little swimmer. Ben didn't last very long. He preferred hanging with mommy on the side. And Jacob kept crawling all over his bros. When he wants something, he'll stop at nothing to get it.

They also played with Grandpa in their giant ball pit/pool.

"Put her there"...don't mess with this guy and his food.

Look at those teeth!

My little buddy likes to greet people at the door!

The crazy part of last week. Well, let me start with Jacob. Saturday, we were working outside while the boys took their nap. Chris came out and urged me to come in asap. I thought maybe Jacob had pulled himself up in his crib (he just did it that morning). No, no, no...he decided to pull off his diaper and there was poop everywhere. I would post some pics, but it's not pretty. And what was Daddy doing...he was so grossed out that he couldn't even be in the room. It was funny! And on another day while mommy was changing sheets, Adam decided to unscrew the bottom of the baby gate. Yes, I am freaking out!!! I have no idea how he figured that one out. Let's not forget mommy's blonde moment. Mommy switched detergent (well...I actually washed their clothes in fabric softener...the bottle looked the same), and poor Ben got a rash from it. I feel really, really bad, but the weird thing is that it doesn't seem to bother him. And that folks is going to be one of many crazy weeks at the Bible household.

Garage Sale vs. Goodwill

This week has been sort of a blur. We've been prepping for our huge garage sale, and boy did we have tons of stuff, and we didn't even sell baby stuff. It all started out when Chris decided he wanted to have a garage sale. This shocked me right out of my pants. He never wants to get rid of anything, so I jumped at the chance to pitch some junk. Let's just say it's just too much work, and we practically gave stuff away, and wouldn't you know it, people still tried to bargain with us. EGADS!!! The Goodwill is 5 minutes away. What was I thinking! And if you notice, I didn't mention the boys much. Yeah, my poor neglected boys. I'll make it up to you guys! I did manage to get some pics though.

The boys still love their jumperoos and exersaucers. Thank goodness, those things kept them entertained this week.

Adam loves climbing in the exersaucer too. Who knew it could be so much fun!

He also likes climbing on Daddy too. And he's up to 4 teeth!

Jacob is really mastering sitting up and crawling. He gets around pretty good. We're so proud of you buddy.

And Ben still likes to fly. I tell ya, that guy never stops moving. He's our little squirmy worm!

And there's that darn moose again.

Okay...maybe now I should go to bed. Take care everyone! NO MORE GARAGE SALES!

Virginia, here we come!

Well, we went to Virginia with Grandma & Grandpa to visit Aunt Suzette, Uncle Brian and our cousins Anna, Ellie and Kate. On the way, we had lots of fun. Our favorite thing to do was watch "Moose A. Moose", and we did all sorts of new stuff in Virginia.

Adam got another tooth. He's up to three!!!!! What a big boy! Jacob sat up for the first time, and Ben didn't stick his fingers in his mouth as much, but he still made quite a mess when he ate. You'll get teeth someday, buddy.

The boys LOVED watching Anna and Ellie swim. You were awesome girls!!! Good luck at your next meet!!!!!

They played in the baby pool for the first time. Future swimmers, maybe? I bet Anna and Ellie can teach them some strokes.

Then we hung out at the marina. It was beautiful! Can't wait to go back.

Alas, our journey ended, but not without some peek-a-boo.
